The colt sighed as he landed. His hooves touched the soft grass, and his eyes set on Ponyville, now much more distant than a few minutes earlier. It was a great advantage to finally master his flight, but it was a bit tiring as of now. He sat down quite comically, as the long, brown ferret climbed down from his back and stood next to him, as if awaiting a speech from the male pony. He, in return, smiled at it. "It's gotten boring in town lately, hasn't it?" he asked, looking at the critter. "There isn't much to do... Not as many crimes and mysteries to solve!" he exclaimed, waving his hooves in front of him in an exagerated manner. "I wish something came up, Sam. I mean, there's this eclipse thing. Though it's not really something we could find out ourselves... Or is it?" he asked, pondering the situation. The eclipse looming atop them was indeed bothersome, and it was obvious that something was going on. Possibly, it wasn't the best place to be at the moment, but the fields seemed secure for the two self-named detectives. "We might need help.."

The slender ferret looked behind his companion, and ran up his tail, ultimately ending up in hiding inside the colt's vest. Since Spades was already used to him doing that, he wasn't as surprised. However, he felt curiosity for the sight that caused it, and he looked behind him. A filly was there, and she had just caught in her grasp some kind of magical artifact; it looked like a potion. He stood up and walked toward her.
"What are you doing here?" he curiously asked the filly; she did not appear to be old enough to be outside during an eclipse. Neither was he, in fact, but he was still older physically. "You shouldn't be here when a moon disaster happens, y'know?" he said, in an attempt to get her to go home. His face displayed an attempt to appear much more mature than he was - He still looked a bit childish, though!

I'm not that young - Diana said automatically - and well hi, I'm tying to collect my potions which i dropped here by mistake. And do you mean eclipse? Well it is strange but nothing more, it is obvious it's deliberately made by either one of princesses.
She sounded very serious about it, she did knew how things works and what things like that don't just happen.

Spades raised his eyebrow inquisitively and eyed the filly up and down. "Well... Whatever that is, I'm pretty sure it's not normal. Why would the princesses go out of their way to do that?" he asked, mostly to himself. Certainly, this proved to be a good enough mystery to investigate; something was wrong about that eclipse. He turned around, and the ferret climbed back to the ground. "I don't know about you, but I want to find out what all of this is about."

Well, we do know what's it all about. In theory, it's just a joke. Not funny one either" - Diana said while putting her potions away - can i help you if you still wanna try to investigate? Secret, but fun as always. *She souned exited a little bit and filly-like right now*

The colt looked up at the sky, and then back at the filly. "Sure! Any help is welcome, but be careful" he said. Deep inside, he was happy to have somepony to keep company, as it wasn't as fun to do stuff with only Sam. "Where do you think we should begin investigating?"

Well, i dont know really. You can try to poke around places or something like that i guess - Diana answered within a few seconds - but it might be dangerous a little bit in the dark

"Dangerous?" the colt said, rather proud of himself. Even though he was in his teenage years, he still behaved rather childish here and there. "Let's see now... Oh! Maybe we could find something on the eclipse itself! We could possibly see something from here." he said, looking up at the sky in an attempt to divise anything supernatural or simply uncommon. There was no such thing. "Hm... Or possibly, this could be the result of some kind of magical experiment!"

My advice on watching eclipse without goggles. Do not watch solar eclipse without goggles, it can be dangerous even without looking on direct sunlight - she said. She look at it a while ago and now her eyes hurt a bit

"I think I can handle!" the colt said, smiling and proud. "Though I can see why you'd need goggles. Anyway! Let's get to looking for something." he said, sniffing the gorund for a few seconds and walking around. "Think somepony knows more about this happening? Asking could certainly help a lot first!"

The fields were foreign to the pony, though the grass wasn't all too tall with the local Apple family allowing their cattle to graze here. The Lunar eclipse had yet to end for some reason, and though it worried the unicorn, he still mustered up the courage to go outside and enjoy the otherwise beautiful night sky. The bustle of worried Ponyville citizens kept him awake, but the light from the activity inside houses also polluted the sky with light other than starlight. No longer able to go to sleep, though also unable to stargaze enjoyably, the young cyan colt decided that some fresh air would ease his mind. There weren't many places to go, so Farrier Fields was the easiest choice.
The cool grass was comforting against his hooves, and it made him a bit drowsy, the colt's gait slowing until he simply stood, looking into the night sky. It was not until he noticed the slight murmurs of conversation that he straightened up with a start, a new sense of alertness over him. He looked around somewhat panicked, spotting two ponies in the distance. He'd seen one not too long before; a purple filly unicorn with a kind, though energetic, nature. The other was unknown to him, though he trusted the filly well enough to near them both, and he did so. The silence of the fields had grown a bit unsettling, anyway. "Hello again Miss. Hello Sir. I'm Machiavelli Morale."

*Not long before that, Diana took her book from her saddle and opened it, making a little bit of light on her face. It was quite strange book could levitate and glow on it own, but no matter* *Diana get a little bit scared then she heard Machi* Oh... hello Machi. What are you doing here? - she asked blushing a lot right now, and not it was quite visible. Also, she did prefer to call him Mach instead of full name.
On the open book, in the place then only Diana could see a words - stop blushing like a tomato.
The only thing Diana did to it is closed a book a little bit so nopony could read book comments by accident.

the colt smiled. He looked at the unicorn, and nodded. "Pleased! My name's Spades." he said, before looking at Diana and smirking. She was blushing, and it was evident she liked the company of this male unicorn. He looked back at Machiavelli. "Your name is quite strange. You are not from Ponyville now, are you? I haven't heard such strange names before; not even in Manehattan!" he stated, shrugging.
