ABOUT THE CHARACTER –
Personality: Rainbow Dash is a very athletic pony who thrives on competition, but can be overconfident at times, and even arrogant. Most likely a product of her arrogance, Rainbow Dash can also be very lazy at times. Despite her negative qualities however, most of the time she is a very fun-loving pony who would do anything for her friends. She has also recently shown a love of reading, especially adventure novels.
History: Rainbow Dash was born and raised in Cloudsdale, where she befriended another filly named Fluttershy. Fluttershy was very shy compared to Rainbow Dash, so Dash was often standing up for Fluttershy when she was being bullied.
In fact she got her cutie mark when she challenged one of Fluttershy's tormentors to a race and performed a Sonic Rainboom, a move that was thought to be only a myth. After that day Dashie got overly cocky because of what she accomplished, and Dashie was kicked out of flight school because of a mix of overconfidence and laziness in her school habits.
Dash decided to work in the weather team in Ponyville so she could live near her old friend Fluttershy. Her home is a house made out of clouds in the sky near Ponyville. She is an active fan of the Wonderbots, and is constantly going to their shows, and even trying out for them without success.

Rainbow Dash was flying her way through Cloudsdale. She was extremely exited today, because there was a booth in town that was going to be selling tickets to a derby in which the Wonderbolts were competing. She's always exited when she gets to see her favorite team.
She comes around a building made of cloud, and around the corner she sees the booth in question. The line for the booth is still short. That was good, because she heard that these tickets were in short supply.
She gets her bits ready, and zooms her way over to the booth. WHAM! Dash is stopped by a bouncy surface that pushed her back. Her bits fall out of her hooves as she is pushed back. Out of sheer fearful reflex, she catches the bits before they could fall past the cloud underneath her. She looks over to see what stopped her.
It was Pinkie Pie, already chattering away as she always does: "HeyDashieIwasjustatRaritysshopandshemadethiscoolnewdesignforthisballoonandIwantedyoutoseeit. Anywaythere'ssomethingIwantedtogiveyou-". Dash covers Pinkie's mouth, knowing she wouldn't have been able to stop otherwise. "Pinkie! I'm kinda busy right now." she said. She then flies over to the lineup, only to find that it grew substantially while she was dealing with Pinkie.
She groans in frustration and flies to the back of the line....and Pinkie Pie followed her. "OOO AreyougettinginlineforsoethingDash? Ifsoyouregunnawantsomeponytobewithyoubecausedoingsomethingwithfriendsmakesitsomuchmorefunand...". Rainbow Dash waits in line for hours, having to listen to Pinkie the entire time.
When she finally gets about near the end of the line, she hears the pony running the booth yell out to the other ponies in line "Alright, we're sold out everypony!". Many moans of disappointed ponies are heard as the crowd scatters. Dash is feeling her own disappointment, and a little angry at Pinkie. After all this was her fault, if she hadn't come along Dash could have had those tickets right now.
Rainbow Dash turns around, ready to yell at Pinkie Pie, but is interrupted by Pinkie "Well now that we're done waiting in that lineup, I can give you these!" Pinkie holds up two of the tickets Dash was trying to get this whole time. Dash is stunned. "How....how did you...?" "Oh, theCakespre-orderedsometicketsformybirthdaandsaidIcouldtakeonefriend. AndIknowhowmuchyouliketheWonderbo-" Dash once again covers Pinkie's mouth. She's so happy to have a friend like Pinkie Pie that all she can think to say is: "Thanks Pinkie...."
