CHARACTER LOOKS –
Coat Colour: Midnight Blue
Mane and Tail Colour: Black
Eye Colour: Midnight Blue
Height: Much taller then average but not towering tall.
Weight: Is relatively heavy but merely looks toned, at best.
Race: Earth Pony
Voice: Smooth and slightly deep. While sounding like someone from Ponyville most of the time, it occasionally drifts off to sounding like a noble from Canterlot.
Scars and Markings: A small scar on his chest, near his heart.
Cutey Mark: Two swords crossing symbolising Cyrus' talent for fighting
Items carried:
- A small backpack that contains various survival essentials, for example disinfectant, many anti-venoms, survival knife, bandages etc.
- Along both hips are throwing knife belts, ten each and twenty in total each coated in very thin diamond coat preventing Unicorn psychokinesis. While not an expert with them, they give Cyrus a ranged attack.
- Four gauntlets, one on each hoof, the two front have a blackstone gem which have concealed single-claw-blades in each, released and retracted upon slamming the gauntlet on the ground. The blades themselves are also encrusted with two smaller blackstone gems on the mid-top and mid-bottom and a small whiteheart gem in the centre. The two rear gauntlets have whiteheart gem in each and are hardier then the front gauntlets designed to amplify impact for maximum damage and allow the user to walk for long periods of time without discomfort.
- Two regal swords under Cyrus' chest. Handles coated in gold, in the handles are engraved several runes and family seals, two dragons on the left and right. The blade itself is made of tempered dark steel and encrusted with gems and diamonds. Along the hilt of the left sword is etched "Upon those who bring hell" and on the right "I bring something far worse, me".
- While living in Canterlot he has learnt to use a larger vocabulary, upper class way of talking and the arrogance that comes with it. However, he has travelled a lot, mainly to Ponyville and so sounds like a resident of Ponyville more often then not. However the longer a conversation goes on, the more apparent his Canterlot roots are.
- Cyrus will almost never speak of his past to anyone and always tries to find ways to leave the topic.
- Initially Cyrus tends to look down upon everypony he meets, seeing them as "lesser" unless they prove themselves. Even if he hears a Pony is skilled or respected, it will not sway his initial judgement.
- But upon any acquaintance earning Cyrus' respect, he'll assist them in anyway possible asking nothing in return more often then not. Cyrus can respect all aspects of skill, ranging from a farmer to a tailor to a cook.
- Very much self believing. His past gives him reason to trust in himself but not always others.
- Cyrus' alignment with any 6 elements is always thrown into question, he could give you 100 bits without saying a word or comfort anypony in distress but why would he do it? Is it because that's who he is or because its what he wants to do?
- Though he has rare occasion to use it, he values his fighting ability to "Cleanse impurities". Ironically, if a battle breaks out against a pony, he will only go for non-lethal tactics as life is a precious gift and should not be taken unless absolutely necessary or the life to be taken deserves death. Beasts however don't get the same mercy.
- Though Cyrus works as a contractor or "Hoof for Hire" he will sometimes reject requests if he feels they go against his beliefs. For example killing a benign creature for its fur.
- Cyrus does like to enjoy himself, quite often bantering with ponies, which can get over a joke and Cyrus will continue just amusing himself. If it gets critically over a joke he will cut it and if the pony is really, really fortunate, he might even apologise.
- Through years of training Cyrus can stand on his hind legs and walk, all be it slowly. The advantage of this is Cyrus can fight much better and can reach high shelves. He believes its the true way to battle but outside of that (And high shelves) rarely ever stands on his hind legs.
- One of Cyrus' favourite things is music; particularly classical, Even to the point Cyrus learnt to play the violin, while nowhere near as good as the professional players he can still carry a decent tune. Even so, sometimes Cyrus wishes his special talent was for the violin...
History: Cyrus' mother from long ago held a position of "High Priestess of Celestia" which was sort of an ambassador between the Ponies and Celestia herself.
Though the father was never revealed, Cyrus was born and raised in Canterlot with high status as his mother demanded high respect. Although his mother was very high profile, she kept Cyrus away from the spotlight, even from school and taught him at home. What was strange about this was the few times he was seen he exhibited intelligence far above his age, visible physical prowess, had a few minor marks over his body and was sometimes was seen carrying or practising with weapons. His first Grand Galloping Gala appearance was a dance of blades at strange request of his mother. The dance impressed many who saw the blank flank, dark coated Yearling.
When he was a young colt Cyrus had met a young homeless filly called Rhyena (Which roughly translated means: Bittersweet Flower) the two quickly became friends, Cyrus demanded to his mother to allow her to live with them. A quiet fight broke out between Cyrus and his mother but ultimately she allowed Rhyena to stay with them on the condition she stays away from the teaching section, Cyrus' and Cyrus' mother's rooms under any condition.
The two grew very close over the years, the two were sometimes seen studying or training together but not apart. Within a short space of time Rhyena had surpassed Cyrus both academically and physically neither had cared about it though, Cyrus would introduce Rhyena as his sister and would call to her with "Sister" and she to him with "Brother".
When the two had reached the age of Stallion and Mare they formed a business of General Contracting in Canterlot called "Just Journey, Jobs" the two were more-often-then-not hired to deliver private messages for wealthy nobles. The two had no issue with going through the Everfree Forest or anywhere dangerous and so were quite the popular selection as (During the time) Canterlot Pegasi messengers were rather stuck up and charged a small fortune for even the simplest of deliveries, for Cyrus and Rhyena it was for the adventure and challenge, a excuse to go somewhere new although occasionally a noble would request them to go hunting for a creature, if Cyrus and Rhyena agreed the creature should be dealt with, they'd take care of it but if they didn't agree, for example against a benign creature that the noble wanted the fur for they would reject the request.
Three years had passed and the Brother/Sister team had become renown for reliability, low cost, efficiency, speed and professionalism that nearly all requests would go to the pair first, even Celestia herself had used the team. By all the money coming to the two of them, their income was making some Nobles look like paupers, Rhyena refused to take any money, instead, giving it to Cyrus. One day, Cyrus went to the best Blacksmith in Equestria at the time and got forged 4 Hoof Gauntlets of impeccable quality, 2 for him and 2 for Rhyena. Their cost was well know, a joke emerged about them "If they were made of pure gold, they'd lose value"
One day as Cyrus was preparing to go out when he heard his mother talking to somepony, on closer inspection it was a Stallion, one he never saw before yet his Mother was very...Intimate with whoever it was. He got within ear shot of the two, remaining undetected. What Cyrus heard caught him off guard... The two were discussing Nightmare Moon... The stallion was leader of a group who wanted her reign to return and the time for her return was close, they were preparing plans to get rid of any potential resistance. The next part was what shocked Cyrus. His mother said she loved this Stallion.
Unsure what to do, he went to his Sister for advice, she said he should confront his mother, Cyrus agreed. Cyrus wrote a note and left it in his Mother's room to meet her at midnight in the Royal Gardens.
What happened exactly no-one but Cyrus knows and hadn't told anyone but his sister. What is known however is his Mother disappeared that night and Cyrus' was badly wounded.
After recovering, Cyrus straight away set out to find the Stallion, Rhyena understood and offered to help. After searching the two searched the belongings of Cyrus' mother; Rhyena found a pair of Swords, weapons like she had never seen before, even her gauntlets seemed amateur to these flawless twin swords, taking them with her she continued searching. Cyrus found a book which gave a clue to where the mysterious Stallion was, not telling his sister, Cyrus quickly took his leave.
Another gap appears in what happened exactly to all but Cyrus. What is know is that Rhyena quickly realised Cyrus had took off and went off looking for him. Many hours later Cyrus returned with his Sister's body in tow with his cutey mark finally revealing itself. No-one dared talk to him or get in his way, even the most blue blooded Ponies bit their lip and trotted well away. To this day some of the older Nobles recall when Cyrus returned and how much he changed.
A few weeks later Cyrus appeared again offering his "Hoof for Hire" services again, two regal swords under his chest and four gauntlets around his hooves ready for work.

I've written a decent amount but I'm quite aware I may need to change some of it, I do ask that whoever decides at least remains open to discussion on the matter as I may not have made everything clear or at least allow me to debate my case.
