Rarity sniffled a little wiping the tear from her eye and turned back to Horizon. She looked him eye to eye and sniffled once more. "Horizon...I just want you to be a good pony, and live a life here with me. I would never...ever do anything to cause you pain. I don't care that you were a bad pony in the past. And...the fact that you want to change means a lot to me. Please...I never meant to say anything wrong...and...and I just want to be with you!" Rarity shouted the last part as she threw her arms around Horizon for a hug.
She wasn't sure if Horizon was going to stay, but she wanted Horizon around as long as possible. She hoped that her words actually meant something to him. "I don't want you to leave Horizon." She began to sob a little harder now. "I'm sorry if anything I said made you feel uncomfortable...I just...I don't know...I was just thinking off the top of my head." She hoped dearly that Horizon could forgive her.

The tempest in the stallion's heart calmed and died down as the Unicorn wrapped her hooves around him, and he responded by embracing the mare with his wings. "Me be sorry, bonnie", he began, "shouldn't have thought o' the worst. It just be what me's used, savvy? Glancin' o'er me shoulder at every turn an'.. well, me life's ain't been one to foster trust in me heart, y'know? But me really be wantin' to be there fer ya, and really be strugglin' to change fer ya. Will ya.. forgive me?"
The stallion pulled away a bit. "That heraldin' job be soundin' swell. Deliverin' packages an' stuff, right? Can be puttin' the wind 'neath me feathers at long last 'gain, ken?" He smiled again. He was always thinking the worst of others, and Rarity never even for a moment seemed to do the same for him. For that, he was more grateful than she could ever guess. Maybe he could at last grasp for a good life. Were these the last rays of light, of hope, before the complete eclipse?

Rarity smiled and knew everything was right once more in her life. She was even ahead of schedule with her dresses and suits. "Well, you're in luck you know. I have a delivery for you to make right now." Rarity smiled and trotted over to her sewing machine. She began to work, and moments later levitated a nicely hemmed and pressed suit, placing it in a small bag and zipping it up. She placed the bagged suit into a nicer packaging and taped it up nicely. She placed a letter reading the words 'Necrose' on the paper. She placed her certified 'Carousel Boutique' stamp on the letter and looked back at Horizon.
"You see, as of now, I've just finished my Nightmare Night rush. This is the final suit for delivery. This suit is going to an earth pony named Necrose. He works at the graveyard behind Sweet Apple Acres. You wouldn't mind making a quick run to deliver this package, would you?" Rarity smiled, levitating the package over to Horizon and opening the door for him. "And be sure to be careful. It's a suit, not some sort of toy. It needs to be handled with the utmost care and delicacy."

Horizon grinned and nodded. "Don'tcha worry, Rarity! Soon ya be seein' me deliverin' all sorta stuff fer all 'em ponies of the 'Ville! This bein' the first one is free o' charge", he winked at her, smiling devilishly. His tail whipped back and forth cheerfully, the Pegasus' spirits now soaring high and bright. Rarity was with him, and he was ready to start his life anew. He had forgotten about her stash of gemstones, too, fully focused on new, more legal prospects.
"See ya later, sugarcube!", He called as he grabbed the package in his mouth and headed for the door. He gave Rarity one last glance, smiled, and left the Boutique. Once outside, he lashed the air with his wings and ascended to the skies, heading for the Sweet Apple Acres.
