I'm just looking at this.. event. Eclipse i think it is. I read about them. Then some objects stand in the way of sunlight. This time the moon. I wonder what caused that. I wouldn't believe that moon just in perfect position to block sun so well. It's deliberately done. But then again, i'm being too serious, it's probably a big surprise show. - she said with little filly laught

A surprise show? As much as Tenderwing wanted to believe that, he couldnt. He was about to tell her that it was more likely something serious, but stopped. He was trying to calm everypony down, not scare them. Atleast somepony wasnt fearful of what has happened.
... And thats when his attention turned to the book. It had a mysterious.... air to it. He stopped staring so she wouldnt think he was a weirdo. "Can i ask you something? What is that book you have there? I read some things here and there, and that book looks.... intresting. Where did you get it?"

"Oh, it's just a magical artifact" - she said a little bit more cautions but not really thinking about keeping it secret - "from one ruins. It's a book about magic, that is. Long story short, it's kind working for all ponies like it did for you. For unicorn ponies, which is interesting.*
She got kind of curious, usually the only ponies to mention something weird being with that book would be ponies which could send magic - ala unicorns.

.... A magic artifact. A magic artifact.... Tenderwing had always dreamed of magic and mysterious adventures, and promised that if the oppertunity came, he would be quick to join. It was harder to believe it when it really happened, however. He thought about it for a moment.
He decided he should learn a bit more about this book of magic. It felt like it drew his eyes towards it, but he centered his focus on the filly with some effort. "That seems strange. What does the book do anyway?" He had alot of thoughts going through his head all at once...

Well, it's actually a general book of magic... well... sort of. It's pretty powerful and it strange got mind on it's own. Through she rarely talks, don't like to waste empty paper. - she said - i'll be honest sometimes i think that thing knows everything. It's much more bigger in page sizes then it looks. *Then she thought about something* You are interested in magic, don't you? - she asked - "if yes then just say so. I kind of know that feeling. I had no magic abilities on my own you see. Before i got the book that is" *That last thing she said quiet to him*

Tenderwing got a rush. His eyes grew wide, and his grin grew wider. He extended his frail wings in the carefullway that didnt hurt them. "Of course! My name is Tenderwing pleasure to meet you!" He was happy to say the least.
This was probably the most exciting thing he had done in quite awhile. He calmed a bit and folded his wings back up. He extended his hoof to shake hers. As a matter of fact, he had forgotten all about the eclipse. More importantly, he had forgotten he was talking to a little filly, and he honestly didnt care.

Of all the houses in Ponyville, perhaps one, though not the largest, managed to carry the most valuable cargo. This cargo, though adorned with precious metals from time to time, was not any jewelry, nor was it a secret to be kept. It was a young foal, one by the name of Machiavelli. His time in Ponyville began as a summer trip to stay with the eldest members of his family, and as such, he managed to remain with perhaps those most set in their ways of all the Malore clan.
The statement of Machiavelli being the most valuable cargo in Ponyville is not one of bias, however much his family is biased, but rather one of mathematical fact; the wealth of the Morale clan was unparalleled by any Ponyville family, with the nearest being another respected family, the Diamonds. Machiavelli, being in line to be head of the Morale family, was therefore in line to have control over the family funds, and thus one of the largest funds in Canterlot. His value, however much an unmolested mind may be, was truly economic.
The only light left emanating from the Morale home was from the young colt's bedroom window; a single candle flickered in the night, the colt himself visible through the window in his small, petite form. The moon had risen only to remain nearly invisible this night, and the thought of what could be causing such, as well as concern for family in Canterlot, had kept him awake. The colt had yet to have grown tired, despite it nearly being midnight; he frequently watched Luna work about raising and lowering the moon, and his lack of sleep was something he was used to, however little it helped with his development. Machiavelli had been a sickly foal, and his slender frame recalled such a past.
Curiosity had gotten the best of him. He was going to go outside and view the dark moon in the cool night air! Many ponies were outside in concern anyway, and with Grandfather and Grandmother asleep, he would be able to leave and return with minimal risk of being caught. Standing, he shook each leg, moving his anklets slightly in order to keep them from irritating him by remaining stationary so long. The anklets on his front legs were gold, the rear silver, and as such, they were quite heavy. Machiavelli, being the thin colt he was, had been ordered to wear them whenever he was not bathing, as they would help him gain muscle and become healthier, and though he acquiesced to the accessories, he didn't feel as if he was growing any stronger, though he did manage to walk and run with relative ease in them now, though sitting for too long caused his coat to press against his skin and feel strange.
Trying his best to abscond with as little noise as possible, the cyan colt blew out the candle's flame, exiting his room almost silently, the only noticeable sign of movement the absence of his cyan coat in the window, as well as the blond of his tail passing through the open doorway. Using magic to unlock the door (If nothing else, he was skilled in his magic use for a colt of his age), he slowly exited the home, silently closing the door behind him. After pausing for a moment to listen for any stirring within the house, he sighed; Neither Grandmother nor Grandfather seemed to be disturbed in their rest by his departure. He nervously entered the street, passing by the unfamiliar faces until he entered Town Square, where he hoped Mayor Mare would be with an explanation or information.
Town Square was somewhat crowded; it seemed the Ponyville inhabitants were too busy trying to figure out what was happening in the nearby capital to notice Machiavelli, or at least ask what a colt of his age was doing outside at this time of night. Looking about for a somepony he could speak to without risk of being returned home (and noisily if his luck were to prove itself as usual), he noticed a filly no older than him of a somewhat magenta hue nearby. The cutie mark seemed familiar... It was the daughter of the Diamond family! Perhaps her parents were currently meeting with the mayor; Machiavelli had come across the Diamonds before, and from the chatting of family, they were "Quick to demand and spread information, regardless of the accuracy."
The cyan colt approached the young filly, averting his golden-amber gaze. "U-uhm. Miss Diamond? What's happening?"

"Oh, i see. This isn't fair then you don't have magic. Especially then you got a horn and you don't just have any on your own." *She shakes his hooves a bit. Please, don't be s exited. Even my book utilizes my horn to use magic. *She took and levitate some random stone, book started to glow as well as her horn and a rock. It was strange, the aura was quite strange. As if there would be flowing bits all over it, few seconds later stone felt down on its place* I will take it as if you would like to have magic, i mean the reaction and stuff... hey, what about i teach you to make magical potions from herbs and other stuff? I'm quite an alchemist, and it is a magical category.

Tenderwing wasnt surprised. He didnt think the book would give him magic. He knew it was powerfull though. He wanted to study it, as well as whatever the filly had mentioned. It would be a valuable experience for them both.
"Its okay, i expected it to not give me magic. I would like to learn more about it and anything you have in mind, though. By the way, i never caught your name."

"Oh, sorry my name is Diana. I own a little shop in Galloup Avenue called Magic Potions And Non Arcane Solutions." - she said - "i'm specialize in potions and recently in some magic. Also i go to school but this is side things" "Well, i guess you can study it. There is quite a few things in the book, i hope it don't mind. But then again if she would, i would dropping rocks on my head" And hey, isn't that obvious, it's solar eclipse - she said while she catches someone about that, even knowing it's not really for her. Then she turned her head she kind of frozen a bit, staring at someone in the dark?

Diamond Tiara waved to Rufus as he flitted off towards the forest, then gave Tenderwing and his new friend a smile and a wave. She'd probably go over and say hello later, but she wanted to make sure the situation here was still under control.
She looked back at the town hall, wishing her parents would come out and tell her what was going on. Truth be told, she felt rather like panicking herself. Everypony remembered the events of last year's Summer Sun Celebration, and she had hidden under a table with Silver Spoon, just like all the other fillies with their friends. The eclipse wasn't necessarily a portent of doom like Nightmare Moon's appearance was, but it couldn't possibly bode well.
However, it would never do for a Diamond to show anything other than perfect composure in a crisis. She could cry into her mother's mane in private, but for now she had a duty to her peers to remain strong and in control. Her classmates looked to her for guidance, after all! Well, the smart ones did, anyway.
There weren't many colts or fillies out and about - most were probably asleep, or kept inside by their parents. There was one small figure wandering around the town square, though, and Diamond Tiara craned her neck for a better look. There were two types of ponies her age in town - ponies who did what she told them (be nice to these ponies), and ponies who didn't (bully these ponies until they get into the first category). The second group currently consisted mostly of those wretched Crusaders, but there were more and more ponies these days taking their side.
The figure came closer, and Tiara suddenly recognised him as the young scion of the Morale family who lived in Ponyville. While she had not had much to do with Machiavelli Morale, her mother had made it perfectly clear that he was in a third category all of his own, "ponies to befriend at any cost". Quickly, she drew herself up straight, and executed a polite bow to the colt as he addressed her.
"Master Morale!" she replied to Machiavelli's greeting, giving her best charming smile. "I didn't expect to meet you out here at this hour!" She looked back at the town hall, then up at the sky. "I'm afraid I have no real news. The only official word I've heard is that the Princesses are involved. My parents are in the town hall now, so I'm just waiting for them, and helping to make sure nopony does anything rash. I don't suppose you've heard anything yourself?"

TenderWing wasnt paying attention to his surroundings, so when Diana adressed the figure in the dark, he thought she had spoke to herself again. As he looked over, he could make out a small silhouette over yonder. It seemed this pony even had Tiara's attention. Who was this?

"Master Morale! I didn't expect to meet you out here at this hour! I'm afraid I have no real news. The only official word I've heard is that the Princesses are involved. My parents are in the town hall now, so I'm just waiting for them, and helping to make sure nopony does anything rash. I don't suppose you've heard anything yourself?"
Machiavelli blinked; he'd forgotten his formalities in his drowsy curiosity! He shook his head and straightened up, the pink rushing to his cheeks visible as a soft magenta under his coat. He bowed as well, then speaking. "Ah, I'm afraid I know not of the current happening. My sincere apologies for not better introducing myself, though I suppose our knowledge of each other eliminates the need for such a welcome..."
His blush failed to fade as he attempted to recover in the conversation; he hadn't really been wrong in addressing Diamond Tiara as he did, though he hadn't introduced himself as he would have liked. He averted his gaze once more, attempting to allow his cheeks to rid themselves of their magenta hue without his golden eyes meeting her eyes of a somewhat blue-silver color. In the corner of his eye, he noticed something; two ponies looking directly at him?
"Miss Diamond, do you know those two ponies? They seem to be looking directly at me... I still haven't met many here yet," Machiavelli didn't mind making new friends, though he also felt a bit uncomfortable being stared at. "Excuse me, Miss Diamond, but I am going to speak with those two, if only to see what has drawn their attention to me. I will be back in just a moment, Miss Diamond."
Machiavelli bowed once more before trotting away, the clinking of his anklets approaching the two others. There was a filly, likely the same age as Diamond Tiara, and another colt. The colt seemed a bit older than Machiavelli himself, and he dipped his head in greeting to both. "Hello Miss, Sir," he stated. His sheepish tone was absent, though only because he'd approached them in interest of why they were looking to him. Having known nothing about them, he was quite nervous despite it not showing in his greeting, though Miss Tiara wasn't too far away, fortunately.

Hello, sir - she said while doing a little greeting involving hear, horn and hooves. It was one of those old greetings to tell out from there this pony from. This one belonged to Waterdeep, one of most magic active places around. By around i mean in few years of traveling in one direction by foot. Right now Diana talked politely, she figured it was someone at least semi aristocratic from his look, but she still switched for more welcoming tone rather quickly, and did i mention what if there would be light around, he would notice her blushing quite a lot? "Can i be of some help?" - she asked, while book in her saddle moved a little bit. I think old magical artifact were making fun of her owner having a "first-sight crush site"

Diamond Tiara smiled as Machiavelli spoke, her rigid demeanour easing slightly. "I think so. Everypony who is anypony knows who the Morales are, after all." She gestured to the crowd with a nod of her head. "It looks like things aren't getting out of hoof after all. I'm sure things will be back to normal shortly."
She followed Machiavelli's gaze, mostly succeeding in stifling a grin at his blush. "Oh, that's Mister Tenderwing! I met him earlier tonight, while ponies were still running around everywhere. He's been doing a good job of keeping ponies calm. Would you like me to introduce you?" She trotted along just behind him as he went to meet Tenderwing and Diana.
