Sunset sat down after seeing Necrose return, and watched him approach with her usual cool. When he reached the porch, the mare stood back up, and shook her head at this suggestion to see a doctor. "No, thank you. I am quite fine. We had matters to discuss, did we not?" She attempted to wave the issue away, and wished that the stallion wouldn't cling to it.. and that he'd forget about it. Her mind raced as he attempted to discern if Necrose was the type of pony to spread word about her condition.. she didn't want to take any chance that the High Command would find out about her.
"I would appreciate if you did not tell anypony of this bothersome.. incident", she added, fixing her attire and scabbard casually, before her expressionless eyes found their focus, setting on the undertaker. "Now, which way did those ponies go? I need some directions so I am able to tell the Aerial Recon where to look."
Her gaze wandered to the graveyard, and at her two guards, wondering if they'd betray her trust and speak to their comrades about her sudden attack.. the situation she was in now was despicable, and her whole life, not just her career, was in the hooves of three ponies, one of which was a complete stranger.

"If you're sure," the young stallion said without even trying to argue the point, "You know yourself best, so I guess I can't force you to do anything you don't want to do." He wished she had agreed to go see a doctor, but there likely wasn't much he could do to change her mind. She wanted to continue their discussion about the Necromancers and there wasn't much left to tell, so maybe she would go under her own power once they were done, but something told him he shouldn't expect as much. He indicated the direction the one who fled went, able to pinpoint the location from thew porch now. "I can show you exactly where. Are you alright to walk, or do you need a minute?" Whatever that was, Necrose doubted he'd ever forget about it and it seemed the soldier was somewhat singleminded in her pursuit of her assigmnents, rendering any serious discussion about it while she was on duty something of an impossibility. Worse, her talking about it while off duty seemed just as unlikely, and the undertaker wasn't the kind of pony who would try to force a total stranger to talk about something they wouldn't offer to discuss, no matter how badly it may have worried him.

"Quite correct", she replied, looking at the spot Necrose showed her, memorizing it so she'd be able to tell the Pegasi where to look. "I can walk just fine, thank you, but it won't be necessary. I'll have the Recon fly over the Everfree as soon as I get back to Canterlot", the knightmare explained. She was certain that the necromancers would have some sort of a lair in the forest, and if there was such a place, the Royal Guard would find it.
Necrose was right about her determination, and the mare's understanding of 'off-duty' was somewhat lacking. Sunset didn't have much else in her life beside her job. She did have family, and met them occasionally, but most of her time was spent in her duties, and even most of her private time was spent with something related to her work.
"Thank you for your assistance. I will be in Ponyville for the remainder of the week, and will be staying at the hotel, should you remember something." Her eyes moved over the scenery and to Necrose, staring the big stallion unflinchingly. He'd make a good soldier with that strong build, she thought. And good at digging trenches, him being an undertaker, most likely.
"Have you ever thought of applying for the Royal Guard?" The Captain asked out of nowhere, and if she functioned like an ordinary pony, Necrose would had no hard time realizing she was jesting; but her blank face and cold voice gave no such impression.

The scarred pony arched an eyebrow at the soldier's sudden question. "I've thought about it," he answered honestly, completely oblivious to the fact that the knightmare was joking, "but to be completely honest, I'm uncertain such a life is right for me. You wouldn't know it by looking at me, Captain, but I have a bit of a problem with authority. If something needs done, I'll do it, no problem, but the moment somepony tries to order me to do something, that's when issues begin to arise." In truth, Necrose had almost enlisted when he was younger, feeling there was more for him than just building caskets and digging graves, but lost his nerve at the last moment and resigned himself to his apprenticeship, eventually learning to take great pride in the fact that he was born to do the things he did and that one day, he would be able to teach others the finer points of casketmaking and gravedigging. "Now, I'm not saying I never would, though. If there came such a time as Equestria needed every able-bodied pony to enlist to defend her borders and ponies, I'd do what was required of me, but for now, I'm happy enough with where I am in life." The black-coated pony loved his home country with every fiber of his being. He often wondered what life was like for ponies in other countries, but his place was in Equestria, seeing it's ponies to their final rest, and he was certain that the undertakers in other countries did their jobs well enough, rendering his intervention redundant.

"Very well. A shame.. but if you ever decide to join and survive the basic training, do ask to be stationed with the First Company. We need strong earth ponies, and digging dirt is our greatest delight." The First Company wasn't nicknamed "Earth" just because most of it's members were earth ponies with the exception of a few Unicorns with useful magics, and a squadron of Pegasi for reconnaissance and messaging. What most other companies saw when they looked at the First training, was endless hours of digging. They dug trenches; fortifications; siege weapon positions, sap tunnels; traps and roads. Although moving dirt was the most visible of their practices, they did a lot more, as well.
"I suppose our business is concluded, then. Farewell, and should anything arise, do not hesitate to come and tell me; as said, I'm here for the remainder of the week, and in Canterlot I can be reached by mail", she told him. It was quite sad that such an able stallion was wasted making graves and other nonsense, thought Sunset quietly, but didn't press the matter. The captain turned, and yelled "to me!" in an uncharacteristically loud voice for somepony who'd been so calm and collected from the moment they met. The two Guards immediately galloped to her sides, and the trio left Necrose and his helpers to continue their own duties, as the Guards headed for Ponyville.
